Axis & Allies Download (2004 Strategy Game) While the classic Avalon Hill board game 'Axis & Allies' has enjoyed a number of computer game conversions throughout the years, this 2004 version from Kohan developer TimeGate Studios is the first to translate the World War II turn-based strategy for real-time play. Love the game but I thought the May patch was going to solve the hanging AI purchase problem. But absolutely nothing online multiplayer since the April patch. I also see a lot of discussions about the hanging AI purchase problem/issue since the April patch release. I reported the bug thru A and A customer support 2 times, maybe 3. We had no online multiplayer gaming trouble until the release of the April patch. The game is launched in Steam and I live in Pennsylvania and my friend lives in Texas if that is any help to anyone. This been happening since the install of the April patch and it is now happening thru the newer May patch and we have tried various times and in various combinations, from the April patch release till now, 14 May, to start online multiplayer games but to no avail. My friend plays the USSR turn and the computer is stuck on Germany's purchase phase. We had the computer play as both Axis powers. I started a game as 1 of 2 humans as the USA, UK, and the USSR with me as the USA and my friend as the other 2 Allied powers.
